The v2.0 FMIC for MAZDASPEED3 has been revised to give more clearance for the frame rails, bumper beam and oil lines allowing for easier installation and less modification of the car.</p>
<p>The COBB Tuning FMIC features 2.5-inch powder-coated charge tubes feeding a large “bar and plate” 24-inch x 3.5-inch x 7.9-inch aluminum core with blue 5-ply silicone couplers with T- bolt clamps plus everything you need for a simple and painless installation.</p>
<p>All COBB Tuning intercooler kits now come with the COBB Tuning lightened shifter weight for improved fitment and more precise shifting feel.</p>
<p>The COBB Tuning FMIC v2.0 for MS3 also integrates seamlessly with the SF Intake System and Turbo Inlet Tube for the complete COBB Tuning Intake Package! AccessPORT calibrations for the COBB Tuning SF Intake and FMIC package can be downloaded from the MAZDASPEED3 Map Database.</p>

And the changes are more than skin deep. The Durango’s stiffened unibody structure is engineered with the driving enthusiast in mind. The end result is a vehicle that delivers premium driving performance combined with SUV capability and crossover versatility. </p>
<p>The 2011 Dodge Durango features two engine options: the standard fuel-efficient 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine and the available 5.7-liter HEMI engine with fuel-saving, Multi-displacement system (MDS) four-cylinder mode. Both engines feature variable-valve timing (VVT) and are available with all-wheel drive. In addition to great efficiency, the engines provide exceptional V-6 and V-8 towing capability with standard trailer sway control (V-8 &#8211; 7,400 lbs. and Best-in-class V-6 – 6,200 lbs.). When equipped with the HEMI® V-8, the 2011 Dodge Durango can tow more weight than a 24-foot boat and trailer. </p>

Mandrel bending allows the tubing to maintain a constant diameter throughout for uninterrupted flow. <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/brands/skunk2.asp"><strong>Skunk2</strong></a> MegaPower RR Exhaust systems feature straight-through, low-restriction, oversized mufflers polished to a high luster and removable silencers for customizable noise control.</p>

<p><B>How to install Hawk Brake Pads</B></p>
<p>• Install brake pads properly. Be sure pads are securely positioned in the caliper.<br />
• Flush system with fresh brake fluid.<br />
• Check all hydraulic parts for excess wear and tear.<br />
• Check disc for proper thickness, parallelism, and lateral runout.<br />
• Check disc for scoring or grooves over .012”depth. If either applies, resurfacing is required.<br />
• If discs do not need resurfacing, then contamination from the previous brake pads must be removed. Sand discs with 130 grit sandpaper using moderate pressure. Use soap and water to clean discs’ surface after sanding and machining. Discs should be free and clear of oil, grease, and brake fluid.<br />
• Inspect calipers for freedom of movement. Lubricate where necessary.</p>
<p>1. After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.<br />
2. Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.<br />
3. DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!<br />
4. Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.<br />
5. After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.</p>
<p>Correct brake pad break-in (bedding) is important to assure quality braking performance over the life of the pad. This procedure allows the rubbing surface of the brake pad to be brought to temperatures, creating a transfer-film layer of friction material to be applied to the rotor surface. This allows the brake pad material to rub against itself rather than the bare rotor. This increases the stopping performance of the brake pad and can reduce pad and rotor wear.</p>
<p>There are a number of reasons why a person can experience brake noise.  Sometimes brake squeal can be an indicator that there is a problem.  Maintenance is required if you experience brake squeal for any of the following reasons:</p>
<p>• Lack of friction material (brakes need to be replaced)<br />
• Loose fitting brake in the caliper<br />
• Loose fitting or missing brake hardware (i.e. shims, anti-rattle clips)<br />
• Loose lug nuts or caliper hardware<br />
• Debris caught between the rotor and the surface of the brake pad<br />
• Heat cracked or worn rotors<br />
• Uneven finish on resurfaced rotors</p>
<p>Sometimes a user may experience brake noise when no maintenance is required. We call these NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) issues. Brake squeal is typically caused by vibration between the brake pads, rotors, and brake calipers. Some brands of semi-metallic brakes are more likely to experience brake squeal due to the metallic ingredients in the brake pads. Hawk Performance has a great reputation for being a low noise, high performance pad.</p>
<p>To prevent brake squeal, choose <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/brands/hawk-performance.asp"><strong>Hawk Performance high performance disc brake pads</strong></a> as your upgrade over other aftermarket brake suppliers. The next best steps you can take to avoid having noisy brakes are:</p>
<p>• Turn / machine the rotors (machining off a small layer of the brake rotor to make it smooth again)<br />
• Wash and dry the rotor to rid of debris<br />
• Install the pads securely and according to instruction<br />
• Properly bed-in the pads according to instruction<br />
• Apply a thin layer of a silicone compound called anti-squeal brake lube on the back of the brake pads</p>

The Challenger was appropriately named as it was released to challenge the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang in the then new muscle-car class. Fast-forward to the present day and the Dodge Challenger is in its third generation. The current Challenger model was designed in 2008 as a remake of the original with a twist of vintage styling and modern technology.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/brands/aem.asp"><strong>AEM</strong></a> has just released a <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/parts/cold-air-intake-kit.asp"><strong>cold air intake</strong></a> for 2009 and 2010 Dodge Challenger and Charger models with 3.5-liter SOHC V6 engines.  AEM&#8217;s part <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-696p.asp"><strong>21-696P</strong></a> is a two-piece aluminum induction system that features a large, molded rubber elbow coupler and massive 7-inch tall DRYFLOW performance cone shaped air filter. </p>
<p>These 3.5-liter V6 engines are relatively underpowered in relation to engines in other muscle cars. With only 250 horsepower from the factory, AEM engineers looked to not only improve peak power gains with the <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-696p.asp"><strong>21-696P Cold Air Intake</strong></a> but to improve low-to-midrange power production as well. During AEM testing a Dodge Challenger realized a 7.36 horsepower improvement at 3800 RPM with the AEM cold air intake installed. Peak horsepower was also improved, going from 174.52 in stock trim to 177.43 horsepower. A substantial addition in torque was also recorded during AEM&#8217;s testing, with a maximum gain of 10.63 ft/lb at just 3500 RPM with the <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/store/aem/aem-cold-air-intake-kit.asp"><strong>AEM Cold Air intake</strong></a> installed. </p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-696p.asp"><strong>21-696P</strong></a> Cold Air Intake system comes with a large oil-free DRYFLOW performance air filter (21-2147DK). The 21-2147DK has a flange inside diameter of 3.5-inches (89mm) and a height of 7-inches (178mm), allowing the delivery of a plentiful amount of airflow to the 3.5-liter V6 engines of the Dodge Challenger and Charger. The DRYFLOW air filter media creates a filter that is extremely durable, easily cleaned and delivers excellent filtration. For added filtration, AEM offers Filter Wraps that are manufactured from durable micro-screen materials that are pretreated with a proprietary hydrophobic process. AEM filter wraps repel water splashes and extend the filters service life. For the 21-696P air intake system, AEM Filter Wraps are available as a separate accessory (Part Number: 1-4007). </p>

Every effort has been made to produce the best in sound, quality and performance. Three types of systems have been released: S-Type, Touring, and Atak in both rear sections and catback sections. The most popular is often the Atak style, called ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), this new technology produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels in the Borla street-legal lineup, and is designed for high-performance purists who prefer exhaust notes over their stereos. The focus of ATAK is to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, avoiding distortion typically found in louder exhausts. With ATAK, the sound output is tuned like a graphic equalizer to shape and focus sound waves for optimum high-volume output. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since the day Ford announced the new 5.0L engine for the 2011 Mustang, people have been asking, “What is ROUSH going to do with that engine? When will the ROUSHcharger be available?”</p>
<p>The answer to those questions is finally available. ROUSH has engineered a 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit that can boost the horsepower on the 2011 Mustang upwards of 550 horsepower on stock pump gasoline with more than 470 lb.-ft. of torque. This 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit (part number 421140) has a suggested retail price of $5,999.00 and is available for shipment now. </p>
<p><img src="http://garage.redlinemotive.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Roush-2011-Mustang-50-Supercharger-1.jpg" alt="" title="Roush-2011-Mustang-50-Supercharger-1" width="377" height="283" class="alignright size-full wp-image-1633" />Many people got their first look at the 5.0L ROUSHcharger in the ROUSH display at Mustang Alley during the Woodward Dream Cruise. The display car got many double takes as people walked by, looked, and then realized that car was, in fact, a 2011 Mustang with a ROUSHcharger installed. </p>
<p>Based on the popular TVS2300 ROUSHcharger, the 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit comes with a 90mm pulley and generates an estimated seven pounds of boost. Included in the kit are 47 lb. fuel injectors, high-flow fuel rails, a high-flow ROUSH air lid, and a twin 60mm throttle body. The heavy-duty ROUSH tensioner is included for the first FEAD belt. </p>
<p>This Tuner Kit includes a 90-day parts warranty, but does not come with a calibration or maintain the Ford factory engine warranty. Professional tuning and installation is recommended. </p>
<p>“While the new Ford five-liter engine offers amazing performance right from the factory, and the new ROUSHcharger will kick it up a level,” said Jack Roush, motorsports legend and chairman of ROUSH Enterprises. “Our engineering team has worked hard to deliver a product that will satisfy the demands of the ROUSH customer on an extremely tight deadline, and they have come up with another great solution for a powertrain upgrade.” </p>

<p>“Production in Hiroshima of right hand drive Mazda RX8 for the UK market has now ended and here we have fewer than 100 examples remaining in stock. Over the next couple of months drivers will be presented with a rare opportunity to acquire one of the very last RX8s available in the UK. Its immense driver appeal, the world’s only rotary-powered production car is still a head-turner, with tremendous road presence and styling that still looks fresh. <p>The 2010 embodiment of Mazda’s unique sports coupe, the Mazda RX8 R3, is remarkably impressive for a host of reasons, including its freestyle doors that ensure easy access and also make it a ‘use-me-every-day’ kind of car. </p>
<p>Powered by an improved version of the unique 231ps twin-rotor engine, the latest car delivers a heightened experience with faster steering, chassis and engine responses, more refinement, more equipment and even greater value. <p>The Mazda RX8 R3 is priced at £25,540 (on-the-road) and represents incredibly good value for a 231ps sportscar with the ability to reach 62mph in just 6.4 seconds. </p>
<p>The uniquely high-revving (up to 9,000rpm) RENESIS engine of the Mazda RX8 R3 is evolved to deliver sharper responses. Maximum power is 231ps at 8200rpm and the six-speed manual gearbox has a lower final drive ratio for a sharper getaway from standstill and improved performance feel. </p>
<p>The interior of the RX8 R3 features new Recaro sports seats in the front, a new-style steering wheel with audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control. It provides great power, handling and fuel mileage. <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/brands/aem.asp"><strong>AEM</strong></a> sought a way to make this compact speedster even more powerful by developing a specially designed <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/store/aem/aem-cold-air-intake-kit.asp"><strong>AEM Cold Air Intake System</strong></a> with either gunmetal gray or polished aluminum intake tube finishes. Product number <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-695c.asp"><strong>21-695C</strong></a> (Gunmetal Gray), and <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-695p.asp"><strong>21-695P</strong></a> (Polished).</p>
<p>&#8220;The development of a true cold air induction system for the 2010 Mazda 3 was approached by keeping the overall design and installation of the system simple while still enabling it to perform significantly better than the stock intake,&#8221; says product design manager John Concialdi.  He also explained that the intake itself is simple for the end user to install in part due to the development of a special throttle body coupler which allows use of the OEM PCV hard line. The intake itself was developed with 2.75&#8243; diameter tubing that goes to a cone shaped air filter with an offset flange.  This allows placement of the filter in a low isolated location behind the front fascia so it feeds cooler outside air to the engine.  AEM&#8217;s R&#038;D group tested several different Venturi sizes until the right one was found to satisfy their demands for proper fuel trims and power output. </p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-695c.asp"><strong>21-695C</strong></a> and <a href="http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/aem/21-695p.asp"><strong>21-695P</strong></a> intakes performed strongly during testing showing a gain of 6.7 hp at 6100 rpm and 5.75 ft-lbs of torque at 6100 rpm. This kind of performance gain along with an easily cleaned non-oiled filter create a simple yet powerful upgrade for your new 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L with manual transmission.
