To fulfill the need for added performance, AEM Induction Systems has released a new Brute Force Air Intake System (21-8026DP) for the 2007-08 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD equipped with the 6.0-liter V8 engine.

The new 21-8026DP AEM Brute Force air intake system is constructed from high-quality mandrel-bent aluminum inlet tubes with an AEM oil-free DRYFLOW performance AEM air filter. Most AEM systems emphasize tuning of resonance properties to deliver higher airflow to the engine. The piping is routed in such a manner that the air filter can receive airflow from a safe and cool location. In addition to an engineered intake tube and air filter, the 21-8026DP systems includes a steel powder coated heat shield that protects the air filter from road dirt and restricts much of the engine heat from entering the air inlet tube.

The 21-8026DP utilizes a large oil-free DRYFLOW performance air filter (21-2100DK). The 21-2100DK has a flange inside diameter of 6-inches (152mm), and a height of 8.125-inches (206mm), allowing the 21-8026DP intake systems to deliver a generous amount of airflow to the 6.0-liter V8 engine of the Silverado and Sierra. The DRYFLOW air filter media creates a lifetime filter that is extremely durable, easily cleaned and delivers excellent filtration.
