The Hyundai Genesis is one of our all time favorite models of Hyundai. Since it came out, we have been stuck in limbo between us liking the 3.8L V6 or the 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder more. Hyundai just kicked it up a notch with the release of their 2011 Hyundai Genesis V6 R-Spec models. This new 2011 Genesis R Spec is powered by a DOHC V6 engine with DCVVT and a tight shifting 6 speed close ratio transmission. Still rated at 306 horsepower and a top speed of 149 mph.

Most of the fun of the 2011 Genesis R Spec comes in the shape of handling upgrades as opposed to power upgrades. The car gets a 13.4 inch brembo brake kit with 4 piston front calipers and huge 13 inch rear rotors with 4 piston fixed rear calipers.

Hyundai didn’t stop there… the 2011 Genesis also features a R-Spec track tune suspension, torsen limited slip, 19 inch wheels and front camber adjustment bolts.

Inside, the navigation system gets an upgrade and overall the car looks much classier inside.
