HKS Hi Power Exhaust
Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path.

For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler. Like Drager Exhaust systems, Hi-Power Exhaust systems are made from SUS304 stainless steel muffler and tip assemblies. Depending on the application, Hi-Power muffler tips are 96mm, 115mm and 120mm in diameter, piping diameter ranges from 55mm to 95mm. Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust systems are exclusively available for certain popular applications. These exclusive versions of the Hi-Power Exhaust consist of a carbon fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.

COBB Tuning Mazdaspeed3 FMIC

While continuing to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the world’s best-selling roadster, the Mazda MX-5, Mazda UK is saying ‘goodbye’ this autumn to a very different, although equally iconic sportscar in its model line-up – the rotary-engined, four-seater Mazda RX8.

The uniquely high-revving (up to 9,000rpm) RENESIS engine of the Mazda RX8 R3 is evolved to deliver sharper responses. Maximum power is 231ps at 8200rpm and the six-speed manual gearbox has a lower final drive ratio for a sharper getaway from standstill and improved performance feel.

The interior of the RX8 R3 features new Recaro sports seats in the front, a new-style steering wheel with audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control. 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L AEM Cold Air Intake Kit

The new 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L with manual transmission is proving to be quite a popular compact model. It provides great power, handling and fuel mileage. AEM sought a way to make this compact speedster even more powerful by developing a specially designed AEM Cold Air Intake System with either gunmetal gray or polished aluminum intake tube finishes. Product number 21-695C (Gunmetal Gray), and 21-695P (Polished).

“The development of a true cold air induction system for the 2010 Mazda 3 was approached by keeping the overall design and installation of the system simple while still enabling it to perform significantly better than the stock intake,” says product design manager John Concialdi. He also explained that the intake itself is simple for the end user to install in part due to the development of a special throttle body coupler which allows use of the OEM PCV hard line. The intake itself was developed with 2.75″ diameter tubing that goes to a cone shaped air filter with an offset flange. This allows placement of the filter in a low isolated location behind the front fascia so it feeds cooler outside air to the engine. AEM’s R&D group tested several different Venturi sizes until the right one was found to satisfy their demands for proper fuel trims and power output.

The 21-695C and 21-695P intakes performed strongly during testing showing a gain of 6.7 hp at 6100 rpm and 5.75 ft-lbs of torque at 6100 rpm. This kind of performance gain along with an easily cleaned non-oiled filter create a simple yet powerful upgrade for your new 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L with manual transmission. 2011 Mazda 2 Coming to 2009 L.A. Auto Show

IRVINE, California — The Mazda 2, named last year’s World Car of the Year, will finally make its North American debut in early December at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. It will go on sale in late 2010 in the U.S. and Canada as a 2011 model.

A close relative of the Mazda 2, the Europe-designed Ford Fiesta, will reach U.S. showrooms next spring, months ahead of its cousin. Both cars share a common architecture, engineered largely by Mazda when it was still controlled by Ford.

The Mazda 2 is sold in the Japanese domestic market as the Mazda Demio.
