New Mishimoto Fan Shroud for 300ZX

Mishimoto is proud to announce the release of a new lightweight aluminum fan shroud kit for the 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX Turbo. The Mishimoto 300ZX fan shroud kit is made for a direct OEM fit and includes two pre-assembled Mishimoto slim electric fans.

Every Mishimoto fan shroud is significantly lighter and more durable than OEM fan shrouds and will notably improve engine cooling performance and appearance. Mishimoto fan shroud kits increase your cars cooling performance by delivering a significant amount of air to the radiator while removing excess heat from your engine. The aluminum shroud also safely secures the fan blades from potentially damaging other essential engine components.

NEW AEM Series 2 EMS for Honda/Acura

AEM Performance Electronics is pleased to introduce its Series 2 Plug and Play Standalone Engine Management System for 4-cylinder Honda and Acura race cars. The Series 2 EMS for Honda, which replaces AEM’s first generation EMS, represents a complete hardware redesign with greatly enhanced features, including a USB data port, 1MB of internal data logging, and 6 coil outputs. In addition, all Series 2 EMS systems come loaded with the company’s new AEMTUNER software, a completely new user interface software which replaces AEMPRO. AEMTUNER is only available on Series 2 systems.

DBA rotors for the EVO X

Disc Brakes Australia announces the release of their 4000 & 5000 Series rotors for the 2008-on Mitsubishi Evo X – GSR & MR. The 4000 Series are a 1-piece rotor design, while the 5000 Series are a 2-piece design. Both the 4000 and the 5000 Series incorporate DBA’s unique ‘Kangaroo Paw’ ventilation design, and are a direct replacement for the factory rotors.

NEW K&N Intake for Honda Fit

K&N has designed a High-Flow Intake System for the 2009 Honda Fit 1.5L.

K&N dynamometer tests show the 1.5L engine gained 4.53 hp at 6000 rpm over the stock intake configuration. To achieve such a performance increase, K&N replaces the original intake assembly; including the air box, air filter and intake tube with an all-new intake design. The new system draws air through a K&N High-Flow Air Filter that increases airflow and never needs to be replaced. Protecting the cone-shaped air filter and directing incoming fresh air from the factory air inlet is a powder coated heat shield that replaces the stock air box. As it passes the filter, air travels through a K&N mandrel bent aluminum tube that is formed and shaped, in the design phase, to drive a more laminar flow of air to the car’s engine.

K&N Intake for Evo X adds 21 Horsepower!

The K&N High-Flow Intake System for the 2008-09 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X 2.0L Turbo, (part no. 69-6546TWR) increases horsepower by 21.42 hp at 6100 rpm over the stock intake configuration.

To achieve such a performance increase, K&N replaces the original intake assembly; including the air box, air filter and intake tube with an all-new intake design. The new system draws air through a K&N High-Flow Air Filter that increases airflow and never needs to be replaced. Protecting the carbon fiber top cone-shaped air filter, and isolating it from engine heat, is a powder coated heat shield that replaces the stock air box, which retains the use of the factory fresh air scoop. As it passes the filter, air travels through a K&N mandrel bent aluminum tube that is formed and shaped, in the design phase, to drive a more laminar flow of air to the car’s engine. Additional features include a powder coated aluminum upper intercooler tube replacing the stock piece for improved air delivery and an attractive wrinkle-red powder coated finish to enhance the Evo X’s engine bay.

JE Pistons announces Billet Subaru Pistons

JE Pistons has announced the release of the first billet pistons available for Subaru EJ257 engines!

Originally created for the Crawford Performance Unlimited AWD Time Attack Subaru and Ken Block’s Gymkhana racecar, these pistons are now available to the public. The new pistons are 100% CNC machined from high quality 2618-T6 wrought aluminum bar stock and are specifically designed for high horsepower road and drag race engines. The pistons feature internal and external bracing, a unique donut dish crown and an application-specific under crown profile that properly redistributes heat and reduces stress concentrations experienced in high boost Subaru engines. Unlike forged pistons, the billet pistons are machined on every surface allowing for all unnecessary weight to be removed during manufacturing. The result of this new process is a weight reduction of up to 35 grams compared to other piston packages available! High quality 9310 steel wrist pins and JE Pro Seal Rings are included. For severe racing applications, upgraded Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coated wrist pins are available.
