Drop Engineering is now available from Redline Motive. Drop Engineering offers three main products: Racing Engine Mounts, Race Bushings, & Wheel Accessories. The following are brief overviews of each product segment and what Drop has to offer your customers.

Drop Engine Mounts

Drop Engineering Engine Mounts are painstakingly assembled from 304 Stainless Steel, the industry standard in high quality stainless steel. Every mount from Drop Engineering comes equipped with rigid polyurethane bushings, tested at a durometer of 75, to more efficiently transfer power to the wheels. Vehicles outfitted with Drop Engineering Engine Mounts will see quicker engine response and easier shifting even at a higher RPM. Each mount is CNC plasma cut and hand TIG welded with the utmost attention to detail and accuracy. A Drop Engineering Engine Mount is an ideal upgrade for any driver looking for improved performance, but is also highly recommended when installing a new motor as a replacement for worn out factory mounts.

Drop Race Bushings

Drop Engineering Billet Bushings are the ideal replacement to stock OEM rubber bushings. Drop Engineering Billet Bushings are precision machined and molded using Delrin or UHMW material. Replacing OEM bushings with top of the line Drop Engineering manufactured billet bushings will significantly reduce wheel hop and improve acceleration. Drop Engineering Billet Bushings will provide optimal performance for any vehicle.

Drop Accessories

Drop Engineering has a full line of accessories designed to function seamlessly with their race engine mounts and race bushing kits. Drop Engineering Extended Wheel Studs, Aluminum Lug Nuts, and Polyurethane Motor Mount Inserts are all made to handle high performance driving conditions. Drop Engineering Lug Nuts are constructed of AL7075-T6 that will hold up even under the most intense racing conditions. Drop Engineering Extended Wheel Studs provide drivers with more threading to ensure that even spaced out wheels are securely clamped to the axle despite additional pressure. Built with quality and style in mind, Drop Engineering Aluminum Lug Nuts and Polyurethane Motor Mount Inserts come in a range of colors, offering drivers a chance to upgrade their style as they increase performance.

Kyle Mohan has been at ground zero of America’s discovery of drifting since it first landed on these shores. In the first few seconds that he observed a car being danced sideways, tires smoking and engine screaming, Kyle decided to combine his love of rotary-powered Mazdas with this new phenomenon.

While most drivers showed up at amateur drift competitions and track days in Nissan Silvias, Mohan was often the only one in a FB Mazda RX-7. It was the path less traveled, but that car – built and maintained by Kyle – served Mohan well as he learned his craft behind the wheel.

Additionally, Kyle has been named to be one of the lead drivers of the Allstars/Mazda Team Drift, which will compete in Team Drift competitions as well as drifting demos throughout the year.
