06-10 Civic Si Skunk2 MegaPower RR Exhaust – Sedan and Coupe

Skunk2 is proud to introduce its three-inch, Skunk2 MegaPower RR Exhaust for Honda’s ’06-’10 Civic Si. The impressive, 76mm (three-inch) MegaPower RR system is available for both coupe and sedan models and is manufactured of high-quality, T-304 stainless steel. Each MegaPower RR Exhaust is CNC mandrel bent and robotically TIG welded to ensure proper fitment and a consistent finish. Mandrel bending allows the tubing to maintain a constant diameter throughout for uninterrupted flow. Skunk2 MegaPower RR Exhaust systems feature straight-through, low-restriction, oversized mufflers polished to a high luster and removable silencers for customizable noise control.

Skunk2 MegaPower RR Exhausts feature a louder tone when compared to smaller diameter MegaPower and MegPower R systems and allow engines to breathe more efficiently and produce more power thanks to their larger diameter piping. MegaPower RR Exhausts are designed for forced induction engines as well as those featuring high compression, aftermarket camshafts, racing headers, high-flow intake manifolds, and aftermarket ECUs. Skunk2 MegaPower Exhausts are currently used by a number of professional race teams, including Compass 360 Racing’s championship-winning, Grand-Am Honda Civic Si race cars that each produce upwards of 240 whp.

An exhaust system that performs well is critical to engine performance. Skunk2 MegaPower Exhaust systems are designed with this in mind and are based off of more than 15 years’ worth of racing experience. Carefully selected tubing lengths and diameters optimize air flow and volume and increase wave scavenging effects for increased horsepower. Skunk2 Press Release – KSeries Composite Fuel Rail

Skunk2’s cutting-edge Composite Fuel Rail for Honda’s K-series engines—including the ’06+ Civic Si— is here. Skunk2’s Composite Fuel Rails are made using a proprietary carbon-impregnated, aerospace thermo-polymer composite—a material that’s 33-percent lighter, 60-percent stronger, and operates up to 100-degrees F cooler when compared to aluminum and insulates fuel from both radiant and conductive heat transfer underneath the hood, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. Composite Fuel Rails also feature large 0.625-inch internal bores for superior fuel injector pulsation dampening, are machined with a smooth interior finish, and feature radius-cut fuel injector outlets for improved flow characteristics.

The special design that eliminates the sharp internal angles where the main bore meets the fuel injector bores inherent with conventional extruded- and drilled-aluminum designs can only be achieved with such composite materials. Skunk2’s K-series Composite Fuel Rails are compatible with the factory fuel system and can support up to 1,200 hp, with gains as high as three percent realized during testing.

Skunk2 Mitsubishi Evo Intake Manifold

The intake manifold solution street-driven Evo VII-IX owners have been waiting for is here. Skunk2’s Evo Pro Series Intake Manifold was designed with “street enthusiasts” who utilize turbochargers as small as the factory unit in mind and want more power without sacrificing mid-range performance.

Skunk2’s all-new, cast-aluminum Evo Pro Series Intake Manifold—which was tested and developed on the company’s own Evo Time Attack race car—is a direct-fit replacement and offers significant horsepower and torque gains without compromising mid-range power output. Conventional large-plenum, short-runner intake manifolds provide top-end power gains but suffer in the mid-range. Not Skunk2’s. Its all-new Pro Series Intake Manifold features OEM-length runners with larger bores and a special tapered design as well as a larger, tapered plenum that together preserve mid-range power but increase and accelerate airflow to allow for significant top-end gains. Pro Series Intake Manifolds also feature thicker castings when compared to the OEM piece, which leaves plenty of room for porting, and each runner exit is machined and hand-finished to best match the cylinder head’s ports. The Pro Series Intake Manifold’s unique design increases wave scavenging effects at the engine’s ideal operating range, which allow for a broad increase in usable power.

Skunk2’s Evo Pro Series Intake Manifold is a simple bolt-on affair. Unlike other intake manifolds, Skunk2’s incorporates the factory configuration, leaving the throttle body in its original location, which means the original intercooler piping and hoses can be reused. Pro Series Intake Manifolds also include the necessary provisions for the Evo’s brake booster line, MDP sensor, and vacuum accessories (EGR valve excluded), and incorporate two additional 1/8-inch NPT ports, which can be used for any number of vacuum/boost-related devices such as gauges, boost controllers, and more.

Each limited edition Black Series Rear Lower Control Arm features Skunk2’s signature black look in an anodized coating and is serialized for authenticity. This exclusive run is currently available for the ’92-’95 Civic, ’96-’00 Civic, and ’94-’01 Integra and is paired with red, low-deflection, polyurethane bushings for the ultimate contrast (black bushings sold separately).

Skunk2’s Rear Lower Control Arms are direct replacements, maintain OEM suspension geometry, and are ideal for street and race applications. Each arm is forged from aircraft quality 2024 billet aluminum, precision CNC-machined, and is more than 25% lighter than the stock arms. Skunk2 Rear Lower Control Arms also feature adjustable anti-sway bar mounting holes for advanced suspension tuning and optimum balance. The low-deflection, polyurethane bushings act as bearings for quicker response and a more positive feel. Skunk2 also eliminated tearing and un-seating problems typically associated with other fixed rubber bushings by allowing the arm to rotate freely about the bushings.

A UNIQUE SHAPE
Properly designed suspension components must be strong and functional first and aesthetically pleasing second. Skunk2’s Rear Lower Control Arms are both. Each arm’s I-beam shape and tapered design is a direct result of efforts to eliminate twisting, bending, and stress risers. Extensive FEA (finite element analysis) testing determined that conventional “straight and flat” designs are plagued by internal stress risers. A poorly designed arm will concentrate stress in particular zones, causing the arm to fracture and ultimately fail.

For maximum suspension performance, Skunk2 Rear Lower Control Arms are best complemented with Skunk2 Rear Camber Kits, Lower Arm Bars, and Strut Tower Bars. Skunk2 Rear Lower Control Arms are also available in JDM Gold, Clear, and Hard Anodized finishes.
